CAUTION:
The suit you will or have purchased has been carefully selected to match your height, weight and thigh measurements following a sizing chart developed over many years in powerlifting. However, since there is a chance you may wish to exchange this suit for a different size, special care should be taken when trying it on for the first time. Do not use chalk, powder or oil on your body, keep hands clean, etc. To be exchangeable the suit must be returned to us in resalable condition
(in the same condition in which it was shipped to you). Laundered suits will not be exchanged.
Your training partner may need to assist you to properly fit your suit.
LEGS:
1. Insert your hands into the leg opening and slowly pre-stretch the material.
2. Slowly pull on the suit until the pant legs stop above the knees.
3. Turn the suit inside out, with the shoulder straps hanging toward the floor
(leave the pant legs where they stopped above the knee).
4. Grab the cuff of the leg (one leg at a time) and work each leg past mid-thigh.
When both pant legs are at mid-thigh pull the body of the suit up over your hips.
5. While you are pulling up the front of the suit, your partner can pull up the back and sides.
This is an important step. It’s purpose is to fit the suit properly on the lower body with
NO GAP BETWEEN THE BODY AND MATERIAL IN THE CROTCH. It will also insure that all
of the slack is out of the lower half of the suit before you attempt to slip into the shoulder
straps.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure the sides, back and front of the suit have been pulled as high as possible on the body before attempting to put on the shoulder straps.
STRAPS:
6. One side at a time. Your training partner should now pull up the strap enough to allow you
to slide your hand down your side towards the opening. (Straps should be pulled up and
SLOWLY STRETCHED - DO NOT JERK THE STRAPS OR PULL THEM OFF TO THE SIDE).
7. When your hand is even with the armhole, your training partner should pull the strap over
the shoulder while you put your elbow through. You will need to dip your shoulder into the
strap. Again, do not jerk the strap or pull them way off to the side.
FITTING:
8. You may experience some tightness under the arm or on the lats. If so, have your training
partner insert his hands under the material and push it out and up. Repeat this procedure
for the opposite side. Make other necessary adjustments by moving the straps on the traps.
9. Relieve tightness on the chest by pushing out and up as if rolling the suit over your shoulders
towards the back.
10. When your suit is on and properly fitted you will still experience some tightness on the
thighs, shoulders, and perhaps the torso. Continue to wear the suit for at least 15 to
20 minutes without lifting and you will notice it will become more conforming to
your body’s contours.
Care Instructions:

FITTING
INSTRUCTIONS
• CX-1 & CX-2 Bench Press Shirts
• Mega Power Bench Press Shirts
• Original Power Bench Press Shirts
1. ONE OR TWO HELPER(S) WILL BE NEEDED FOR ASSISTANCE.
(Good luck in finding someone to stay around and help. This is usually when your partners disappear.)
2. PUT ARMS IN FIRST AND MAKE SURE THE SEAMS ARE DIRECTLY UNDER THE ARMPITS
BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PULL SHIRT OVER HEAD.
3. HAVE YOUR HELPER(S) PULL SHIRT OVER YOUR HEAD, HAVING THEM PULL DOWN
ONE AREA AT A TIME, WORKING THEIR WAY AROUND THE BODY IN A CIRCLE.
4. NOW HAVE YOUR HELPER(S) GRAB MATERIAL UNDER THE ARMS AND SLOWLY PULL
DOWNWARD, WORKING HIS WAY TOWARD THE WAIST TO REDUCE AS MUCH
BUNCHING OF FABRIC IN THE ARMPITS AS POSSIBLE.
OK,HERE IS WHERE YOU COME INTO PLAY. YOUR TURN TO START HELPING. AS YOUR HELPERS ARE WORKING THEIR WAY AROUND THE SHIRT, YOU GET TO ROLL YOUR ARMS UP AND DOWN, THEN FORWARD AND BACKWARD. IT WILL LOOK LIKE YOU ARE ABOUT TO TAKE OFF FLYING BUT THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GET YOUR SHIRT TO SETTLE IN WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE AND IT IS THE LEAST STRESSFUL ON THE MATERIAL.
5. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, REPEAT STEP 4. IT IS IMPORTANT TO GRAB THE MATERIAL IN
THE ARMPITS. PULLING FROM A LOWER POINT ON THE SHIRT TO GET THE PUCKERING OUT FROM AROUND THE CHEST AREA IS NOT AS EFFECTIVE. THIS WILL RELIEVE SOME OF THE PINCHING SENSATION AND CAUSE YOUR BENCH SHIRT TO BE MORE EFFECTIVE.
6. ONCE YOU HAVE AS MUCH OF THE PUCKERING GONE FROM AROUND THE CHEST AREA AS POSSIBLE, NOW YOUR HELPERS CAN CAREFULLY PUT THEIR FOREARM TO WORK BY PLACING IT INTO A POCKETED AREA AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SHIRT. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ROLLING YOUR SHOULDERS AS THEY ARE STEADILY AND SLOWLY PULLING DOWN. HAVE THEM WORK THEIR WAY AROUND YOUR BODY. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO ALLOW ONE PERSON TO PULL AT A TIME. THE REASON YOU MIGHT NEED MORE THAN ONE HELPER IS BECAUSE A TIGHT FITTING SHIRT CAN BE VERY TIRING AND HARD ON THE FINGERS TO PUT ON. YOU DON’T WANT TO OVER WORK ONE HELPER.
BENCH SHIRTS ARE DESIGNED TO BE VERY TIGHT. YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO PULL YOUR HANDS TO YOUR CHEST IN A BENCH PRESSING POSITION AND EASIER TO PUSH UP! THIS IS THE DESIRED EFFECT. THE USUAL DISCOMFORT EXPERIENCED WHEN WEARING A TIGHT SUIT, WRAPS, AND BELT ALSO APPLIES TO YOUR NEW BENCH SHIRT ALONG WITH THE OBVIOUS BENEFITS.
IF YOU WANT TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE IT MUST BE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DATE RECEIVED, UNUSED, UNWASHED, NO DIRT OR GROUND IN POWDER, AND NO BODY ODOR. ALL ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION THEY WHERE SHIPPED OR YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO A RETURN OR EXCHANGE FEE.
